SPIRITS OF BUTLER PARANORMAL PROGRAMS - GENERAL BUTLER STATE PARK

This hilltop resort that sits where the the Ohio and Kentucky Rivers meet honors a prominent military family. Named for General William Orlando Butler, the family’s military fame spanned from Colonial times through the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Mexican War and the Civil War. The Butler-Turpin House is also one of the most haunted historical landmarks in Kentucky, and these programs are a fundraising effort on behalf of General Butler State Park.

Spirits of Butler Package Cost:
Saturday Overnight Package: Single: $99.00, Couple: $159.00 (tax not included)
Weekend Package: TBD - We don't have the pricing yet, but you can ask when you call to make your reservation

For the first time, you will have a choice of overnight packages!

Package #1: The Saturday Evening Overnight Package includes the following:

  • Afternoon classes with Starr & Jessi Chaney; choose between "Extra Sensory Perception and Ghost Hunting" or "Answers from Beyond: Communicating with Your Spirit Guides"

  • Afternoon tour of the Historic Butler-Turpin House, 19th century dressed guide, period refreshment and Q&A on the history of the house and family.

  • Free card readings throughout the day

  • Evening meal, prepared especially for the "Spirits of Butler" guests

  • Butler Folklore - presented by the Historic Site Museum Manager, Evelyn Welch

  • Paranormal Program by Starr Chaney - Includes ghost hunting basics, demonstration of the use of dowsing in paranormal investigations, and presentation of paranormal evidence collected in Kentucky.

  • Night investigation of the Butler-Turpin House and Butler family cemetery. Cameras allowed. Digital recommended.

  • Overnight accommodations for Saturday evening at General Butler State Resort Park.

  • Sunday Brunch at Two Rivers Restaurant at General Butler State Resort Park.

Package #2: The Weekend Package includes all of the above, plus the following:

  • Exclusive Friday evening session with Starr & Jessi Chaney; guests will learn about the importance of meditation and balancing the chakras, as well as have the opportunity to participate in a past-life memory recall meditation session.

  • Private ghost hunt at the Butler-Turpin House from 10 pm to midnight with Starr & Jessi Chaney

There are a limited amount of walk-in rates available at $30 per person and includes only the Saturday evening paranormal program and ghost hunt at the Butler-Turpin House. Call 502-732-4384 ext 2415 to sign up for the walk-in package.

Dowsing rods, pendulums, t-shirts and other goodies will be for sale on Saturday evening - sorry, but we won't be able to accept checks.
