Investigation Setup:

We broke into several smaller groups and each chose a wing of the hotel to investigate. Each participant carried their own equipment, which ranged from cameras and recorders to meters and dowsing rods.

History of the Home/Area:

The Park Inn was a posh hotel in the 1960s frequented by people of power and money. High class prostitution was prevalent there. Cesar Chavez supposedly met there in the "Red Velvet Room" to negotiate high powered labor decisions. Finding this room became the focal point of our search/investigation in the building. The chapel which is on the property was not an original addition. It is the actual chapel where the first owners wed, they had it moved to the Park Inn later when the they learned it was to be torn down.

Activity Witnessed:

Please read Nanette Patterson's detailed report on these happenings. Thank you for sending this Nanette!

Investigation Findings:

Our groups came away with some nice photos and EVP. For the ones which have been shared with us, you will find them on the Photos and EVP evidence pages on this site.
