OUR TEAM

Our main team members are listed below. From time to time we have ghost hunters join us from out of town on our investigations, but they will not be listed here.

Starr
Starr, Founder of PsyTech

Starr - CGR, CPI, CI, Certified EVP Specialist
Staff Writer for PARANORMAL and Fantasma!

Starr is a Certified Ghost Researcher, Certified Paranormal Investigator, Certified Instructor, and Certified EVP Specialist. We are all Members of The American Society of Dowsers. By day she is a mild-mannered candle maker and owner of Celestial Scentsations Candles with a shop in her home, and an internet store. She specializes in soy candles, home fragrance items, and bath & body products.

She is also an experienced Dowser, and a member of The American Society of Dowsers. Having been taught by her Father at the age of five, this knowledge had been passed down from his own Grandmother, who was a Cherokee Indian. Starr began dowsing with a pendulum, but for ghost hunting she prefers L-rods.

Starr interviews witnesses, dowses, takes photos, sets up EVP equipment, handles the meters, and analyzes all data collected. Starr is a sensitive and is learning how to better use her gift during investigations.

Starr teaches ghost hunting and dowsing classes on a regular basis. She is also providing a fundraising effort for Camp Nelson Civil War Heritage Park by doing ghost tours for them throughout the year. She believes that community involvement is an important part of life, and she supports several nonprofit organizations.

Starr is also a nationally known public speaker. She has been asked to speak at paranormal conferences across the United States as well as locally, and has made guest appearances on several national internet radio shows.

We are very pleased to announce that Starr is now a staff writer for two paranormal publications: PARANORMAL Magazine, the UK's first and largest selling monthly magazine on the paranormal with columnists including Yvette Fielding of Most Haunted, and Kentucky's own Fantasma! paranormal magazine, which will be published quarterly. Starr has a recurring column called "Starr Travels". This magazine may be purchased through local distributors in Kentucky, and will also be available through our online store. Be sure to check them out!

Jessi - CGR, CPI, Certified EVP Specialist

Jessi is a Certified Ghost Researcher, Certified Paranormal Investigator, Certified Instructor, and Certified EVP Specialist. We are all Members of The American Society of Dowsers. Starr passed along her knowledge of dowsing to both daughters to carry on the family legacy, so Jessi is also a skilled dowser.

She is a Preschool Teacher, and she has plans to return to college to attain her degree in Early Childhood Development.

Jessi interviews witnesses, dowses, takes photos, sets up EVP equipment, handles the meters, and helps with data analysis. Jessi is also a sensitive, with particular talent in empathy.

Ed - CGR, CPI

Ed is Starr's husband. Though work commitments keep him from attending all the investigations, he likes being a part of the team. He has a great way with people, so he usually conducts our interviews. He also takes photos, helps with EVP equipment set up, and data analysis.

Jill- CGR

Jill is a graduate of our Ghost Hunter Certification class, and a great friend. We met Jill for the first time on one of our Camp Nelson tours, and she became a regular. Soon afterward she became certified and even helped us out with our tours at Camp Nelson. She earned a spot on our team by putting her skills to good use and demonstrating high standards for investigating and dealing with the public. She is a great addition, and we're happy to have her with us!

Jill works fulltime, has two handsome sons and is happily married. Jill helps out by dowsing, interviewing witnesses, handling equipment and helping with data analysis and research.
